30 Rock (Live)

Standard

Loosely based on Tina Fey’s experiences as head writer for Saturday Night Live, “30 Rock” has been striking a good chord with audiences for 4 years. With the latest addition of Matt Damon as well as countless guest stars and a shining cast, it seems that the show has hit a swift stride of awkward humor.

Tonight, the show decided to try a live episode. While it wasn’t a COMPLETE disaster, it didn’t feel successful either. The entire episode felt more like an inside joke and many of the laughs were based at how unrealistic a live version feels. In this case, I think the show needs to stick with what it knows.

I give it 4 stars for the live episode!
